Commemoration of World TB Day
SHDEPHA+ participates in World TB Day commemorations to raise awareness, mobilize communities, and advocate for stronger action to end tuberculosis in Tanzania.

SHDEPHA+ participated in the World TB Day commemoration at Simiyu, where the Guest of Honor was Hon. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa, who addressed the community on the cooperation efforts needed to end TB in Tanzania.
Guest of Honor
Hon. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa addressed the community and emphasized government and community cooperation in the fight against TB.
Community Mobilization
Hundreds of community members joined the event to learn about TB prevention, testing, and treatment services.
Health Screening
The event provided health education and linked attendees to nearby TB and HIV testing and care services.
Advocacy Goal
To strengthen community-clinical partnerships and demand for quality TB services for all affected populations.
